Having a NJDL licensed technician come to your home or office to collect your samples provides a convenient alternative. Whether you are too ill to travel, or home bound because you are just days out of a procedure and you prefer not to endure long wait times at a collection location. We will come to you.
Call or email us to schedule an appointment. You must email or fax your physicians script and insurance information at the time of scheduling; (**no script required if you are paying out of pocket). After you make an appointment with NJDL, you will receive an email confirmation for the date and time of service. A licensed technician will arrive to your home or office to draw your blood. Your specimens will then be transported to the laboratory for testing. An itemized invoice will be emailed to you the same day of service. Acceptable payment methods include: cash, personal check, credit card, and Venmo. The results will be sent to you and the ordering physician within 24-36 hours of testing.

You should be adequately hydrated by drinking at least 8 ounces of water 30 minutes prior to having your blood drawn by a NJDL licensed technician arrives.
Your physician will indicate whether fasting is required; if so, it is usually written on your test requisition. If required, please ensure you do not eat or drink (other than water) for 8-12 hours prior to having your blood drawn. Alcohol should be avoided for 48 hours before having your blood drawn.
NJDL, does not bill your insurance. We partner with several large reference laboratories that will file a claim with your insurance provider when your samples are processed. All major health insurance plans are accepted. If there is any uncertainty, NJDL will inquire on your behalf.
Yes. NJDL offers a discounted rate to uninsured patients and our rates are lower than any of our competitors. Full payment is required on the same day of service. The results will be emailed to you within 24-36 hours of testing.
No, however, your insurance will not pay or reimburse you for services provided by NJDL. You can pay by cash, personal check, credit card, or Venmo on the day of service. The results will be emailed to you within 24-36 hours of testing

Your doctor will receive your results within 24-36 hours of testing. Contact your physician with any questions regarding your test results.
Yes. There is a $75.00 concierge service fee for specimen collection and transport to the laboratory, as well as having the results emailed to you and/or physician. The paid invoice can be submitted to your insurance for possible reimbursement depending on your insurance provider.
NJDL has the best interests in mind for both client and NJDL staff members. Our guidelines strictly adhere to The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations. Upon arrival, the licensed technician will provide official NJDL identification prior to sample collection. If at any time, either client or NJDL staff member feels unsafe in their current environment, he/she should use better judgement whether to continue with the specimen collection procedure. NJDL technicians adhere to proper health and safety standards, policies, and procedures by using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times when performing specimen collections and will dispose materials appropriately after the sample collection is complete.
Yes 100%. NJDL takes the privacy of both your personal information and test results very serious. We are fully compliant with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) standards to ensure your data is protected. NJDL does not share your personal information, in fact, your test results are forwarded directly to the ordering physician by the testing laboratory.
NJ Diagnostic Labs & Wellness LLC (NJDL) is responsible for the drawing and handling of laboratory specimens. NJDL is not permitted to give any medical advice, treat or diagnose any client.
NJDL handles the transport of all specimens to the proper laboratory. If the specimen(s) requires special handling, we will package the specimen(s) and schedule a pick-up via courier at the patients home. Under no circumstances will a client be given specimens to handle or transport. NJDL is not responsible for any delay of specimen(s) arrival to the laboratory due to weather conditions or any other problems that may occur once the specimen(s) have been delivered to the laboratory.
NJDL is not responsible for any errors that may occur at the laboratory. Any errors in specimen(s) collection caused by NJDL will be corrected by re-drawing at no additional charge to the client. NJDL makes every attempt to notify the client of arrival prior to the scheduled appointment. NJDL does not travel to the client unless a verbal confirmation has been made with the client the night before or the morning of the scheduled appointment. If an NJDL staff member arrives to the appointment for the blood draw and is unable to collect the specimen(s) due to circumstances beyond his/her control (ex: client refuses, client not present for appointment) the client will remain responsible for the full charge of the service. Any errors in collection caused by NJDL (incorrect tubes drawn, unable to obtain satisfactory sample) will not incur a charge to the client, or will be redrawn at no additional charge to the client.
Payment for services is due on the date of service. NJDL does not bill the insurance company. Claims must be submitted by the client. NJDL is an independent specimen collection service that partners with several diagnostic laboratories in New Jersey. Under no circumstances will NJDL divulge client information, personal or other, to any unauthorized personnel. All client information is kept confidential at all times. We are fully HIPPA compliant and respect the privacy of our clients.
